Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra explore jazz from Colombia and Peru with leading artists and composers from those countries now living in the United States. From Colombia: pianist/composer Pablo Mayor, accordionist/composer Gregorio Uribe. From Peru: trumpeter/composer Gabriel Alegria, saxophonist/composer Laura Andrea Leguía* and percussionist/composer Ivonne Paredes*, with guest artists Yuri Juarez on Criolla guitar, and Freddy Huevito Lobton, Cajon and Zapateo dancing.
