Riverdale Choral Society: Open Rehearsal

Join us for an early peek at a living composer, Riverdalean Nancy Wertsch, collaborating with The Riverdale Choral Society and John Lettieri, Music Director as we begin working on her new piece Walking the Melt, commissioned for our 50th Anniversary concert, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 4 pm. Nancy Wertsch has created a joyful celebration of Spring, setting the poetry of New York writer Maggie Schwed. You can be the first to see and hear how this new work gets put together for our Gala Celebratory Spring Concert! This is a free open rehearsal at 8 pm on Wednesday, February 18th. The 50th Anniversary Concert will also feature Vivaldi's Gloria, and James Bassi's 4 Latin Psalms, entitled Laudate Domine.
