Spiral Music: David Ellenbogen

Spiral Music presents acoustic music every Wednesday evening at the base of the museum's spiral staircase. Artists who specialize in music from the Himalayas and South Asia are invited to forge a connection between their music and the art in the galleries.

‍David Ellenbogen (guitar) has studied and played music around the world in places such as Mali, Brazil, India, and Australia. In addition to maintaining an active presence on New York radio station WKCR-FM, Ellenbogen has worked to produce many of the Brooklyn Raga Massive collective's events. He has led sound and healing retreats as well as spoken about ragas and the healing properties of music on the TEDx stage.
