On Sunday, February 23rd, An die Musik NYC presents The Parhelion Trio, soprano Erin Heisel, tenor Jamon Maple, pianist Andrea Christie, and violist Nickolas Kaynor in a concert of music spanning the past 100 years. Ranging from beloved 20th-century song cycles by William Bolcom and Vaughan Williams to rousing new works for flute, clarinet and piano, the concert will conclude with premieres performed by Parhelion Trio. Featuring the world premiere of Lisa Bielawa's "Rondolette" (2020/2011), arranged for trio, and the New York City premiere of "Rhapsody" (2019) by Peter Winkler.
Currently in their third season in residence at Union Temple of Brooklyn, An die Musik NYC is a concert series bringing the people of New York City high-quality classical music at affordable prices. AdM presents internationally renowned performers alongside rising talents from the NYC community.

Born in 2009, Ilaria Loisa Hawley is the recipient of a 2019 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award and the inaugural recipient of Claire Chase's Pnea Foundation Young Flutist Award. Ilaria's music has been performed by the New York Philharmonic and Face the Music, and she is a composition student of Mathew Fuerst and a flute student of Zara Lawler. She attends PS 314 Muscota New School and enjoys drawing, drama, reading, rock climbing, and making earrings.
